Peter Mason MBA established the consultancy in 2006. A manager with 35 years experience in local government, 25 years of which with direct managerial responsibility for running various departments within Social Care, his experience includes managing over 400 staff, multi-million pound budget responsibilities, Social Care Finance and Performance management, industrial relations, Social Care systems and process implementation and re-engineering. Peter has been responsible for direct provision of homecare and other frontline services and also the monitoring of independent provider performance. Latterly he has specialised in Homecare Electronic Call Monitoring System implementation and organisational change management.

Responsible for implementing changes in Adult Social Care working practices during 2000 - 2002, achieving savings in excess of £1,000,000.

Responsible for change management, ensuring that a Local Authority Social Services Department was able to organisationally transform to adopt the Council wide implementation of SAP software and use this effectively for on-line procurement; financial management; HR and payroll functions.

Project managed the procurement and implementation of replacement social care database for a Local Authority Social Services Department. .

Played a leading role in the establishment of the National Framework Contract for the procurement of Electronic Homecare Call Monitoring Systems with the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO), Office of Government Commerce (OGC) and Care Services Efficiency Delivery Program (CSED).

Project managed the procurement and successful implementation of Electronic Homecare Call Monitoring Systems for several Local Authorities including the implementation of electronic rostering systems to the local Authorities and a number of independent homecare providers.

Peter is now an acknowledged independent leader in the implementation of Electronic Homecare Call Monitoring systems for Local Authorities and frequently talks on the subject at seminars across the UK.
